Do you get sick of making plain ole’ cards? Me neither! I admit that many of my cards are standard shapes and sizes. What I lack in variety, I try to make up for in quality. I love 3-D items like boxes and baskets, but with a few exceptions, they are mostly dust collectors. If I am giving them away, then it’s okay! Everyone loves a card and it can really make someones day. Stampin’ Up!s theme this year is Making A Difference. An unexpected card can do just that!
I currently have a class the second Tuesday of the month. You get 6 cards (3 designs) and envelopes for $15. You bring scissors and a standard adhesive and I provide the extras. I would love to have another class, but need more people. Give it a try!
I will start with my favorite from my August class. card. I call it a sunburst card and I have seen it a lot lately. I have done one before and it was a big pain. Well, what I found is that I was making it way more complicated than it needed to be. I found a tutorial from another demonstrator and I was hooked. You can see this tutorial on Dawn Olchefske’s site
