Sorry I have been away from my blog so long. I’m not sure if I mentioned it, but I was going to Real Estate school. There is a ton of things to learn that seem to have nothing to do with selling a home! I haven’t been in a classroom environment in .. forever. I really had to focus and felt guilty when doing anything that wasn’t studying. I have passed all my exams (whew!) and now have 1 class and need to submit my paperwork to the state. Then I will be official.
Anyway …. I have been playing catch up and have several cards to share with you. I will probably do 2 today and the rest later in the week.
This first one has hardly any stamping, but it’s pretty just the same.
Stamps – Embellished Ornaments (just the sentiment inside)
Ink – Night of Navy
Paper – Night of Navy and Whisper White card stock. Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum and Glimmer Paper in Silver.
Tools – Christmas Greetings Thinlit die
Extras – Night of Navy 5/8″ satin ribbon (ret), Basic Jewels Rhinestones
My next card is one of a kind. Meaning I only made one. I love the stamp, I love the sentiment, but get stuck when trying to make it work. This is what I came up with.
Stamps – Gnome for the Holidays (not Stampin’ Up!)
Ink – Real Red, Night of Navy, Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, Cucumber Crush Classic Inks. Basic Black Archival Ink.
Paper – Real Red and Whisper White Thick card stock. Polka Dot Parade DSP (ret)
Tools – Elegant Dots embossing folder, Lots of Labels Framelits, Aquapainters
Extras – Real Red 1/4″ stitched grosgrain ribbon (ret)
