Happy 4th of July!
Thank you for joining the hop and continuing from Stephanie’s blog. The 4th of July is a special time that means more than picnics and fireworks and family time. It’s a time to remember our country’s independence and honor the people who sacrificed to gain it. And ….. it’s also about picnics, fireworks and family time! I really like the card I made below but instead of sending it to anyone, I think I might frame it and keep as a decor piece for the holiday.
This wasn’t very difficult to piece together although I think it makes a statement. I obviously used the framelit heart for the shape, but it needed a border. The next size up for hearts was too big. So… I used the same size framelit and traced it on the outside and cut it out in black. I am not the best cutter in the world (which is why I love Stampin’ Up!s tools) but hopefully the bling distracts you!
