I went to a team meeting held by my friend and Stampin’ Up! upline, Max Conrad. This meeting was for training and for fun. Among other things, at this meeting we made a revised color chart of the new Stampin’ Up! colors. This year we had a color refresh, so my chart was old. The chart we made at Max’s was awesome – you showed a sample of the cardstock, ink pad color and marker. It was great – well, at least it could have been. I got clumsy hands and dropped a stamp – then a marker – then I stamped in the wrong column!! I was just all thumbs. I tried to shrug it off because our cards aren’t perfect and that is how you know time and love was spent…. but this is chart. In my crazy world charts are uniform and sleek. So my anal retentive self had to make a new one.
Mine is a simple word document printed on Whisper White Cardstock. I used the scallop circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack to make my colors from cardstock and used little dots of the Multipurpose Glue to keep them affixed. I don’t have the detail that the ones we had at my meeting, but I didn’t drop anything and they are straight. All is right in the world…
If you would like a copy of the color template I made, let me know and I can email it to you.
